Bishkek, Feb. 20, 2018 / Kabar /. The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic started negotiations on construction of Bishkek City Hospital No. 1. Two representatives of the Austrian company Vamed Group met today with Minister of Health Talantbek Batyraliev .
Head of the international cooperation department of the Health Ministry Osmonaly Masaliyev said that the Austrian company works purely on construction and management of hospitals under the program of Public-Private Partnership (PPP). It has been successfully operating in Turkmenistan for 18 years and has implemented a number of large projects in Kazakhstan.
"Kyrgyzstan is interested in developing this area of medicine within the framework of PPP and welcomes efforts to improve the country's healthcare system," Batyraliev said addressing the guests.
Within the framework of the Austraian visit, it is planned to get acquainted with the work of the Bishkek City Hospital No.1, where construction of new hospital with 450 beds is planned to be built within the framework of PPP.
The sides agreed that the next more detailed meeting will be held in March of this year, where representatives of the Agency for Promotion and Protection of Investments will also take part.
