Bishkek, Jan. 10, 2018. / Kabar /. The Kazakh authorities announced the removal of restrictions on the import and sale of confectionery products from Kyrgyzstan, the Committee for Public Health Protection of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.
According to the information provided on the website of the Committee, the reason for the cancellation was sanitary and anti-epidemic measures taken by the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan, strengthening of control over the Kulikovsky Confectionery enterprise, as well as the results of laboratory tests of products meeting the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union.
It is reported that the Committee will continue to monitor the safety of the products of the above-mentioned enterprise at the implementation stage.
This type of control is an alternative to temporary sanitary measures.
In Nov. 2017, Kazakhstan suspended imports of dairy, meat and confectionery products from Kyrgyzstan. The reasons for such measures were violations of the requirements of technical regulations.
