Bishkek, Feb. 20, 2018 / Kabar /. Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlan Abdyldaev met today in Bishkek with the EU Special Representative for Central Asia Peter Burian, who arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic for a joint seminar with the Kyrgyz side, "EU-Central Asia Relations from the Perspective of Kyrgyzstan", which is held today in Bishkek.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that during the meeting the sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation between the EU and the Kyrgyz Republic, including the organization of high-level mutual visits, as well as prospects for further cooperation.
During the meeting, the sides discussed further steps of assistance by the EU in promoting priority projects for the Kyrgyz Republic: providing drinking water to the rural population (Taza Suu), Taza Koom project.
The sides also exchanged views on the implementation of the EU Strategy for Central Asia.
