Bishkek, Apr. 5, 2018. / Kabar /. Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sanjar Mukanbetov took part in the 43rd annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank Group, which was held from 2 to 5 April in the city of Tunis (Tunis Republic), the Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported.
Within the framework of this event, the Vice Prime Minister also participated in the forums and seminars of the IDB councils and held a number of bilateral meetings with delegation members of the Arab Coordination Group, including with IDB President Bandar Hajar.
Speaking at the 43rd annual meeting of the IDB, Mukanbetov said that the Kyrgyz Government attaches special importance to cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank. "The projects implemented jointly with the bank make a tangible positive contribution to the development of infrastructure and the improvement of the quality of life of the population of our country. We assess cooperation with IDB as effective, and useful in terms of the final result," said Sanjar Mukanbetov.
In addition, he confirmed his interest in further active cooperation with IDB and other members of the Arab Coordination Group.
Also, the Vice Prime Minister presented detailed information on the prospective sectors of the domestic economy, stressing that further expansion of the presence of IDB in Kyrgyzstan will be reflected positively on joint cooperation.
