Kyrgyz Parliament to elect chairman of National Bank

Bishkek, Sept. 13, 2017 / Kabar /. The Kyrgyz Parliament will elect a chairman of the National Bank on Thursday.

Speaker of Jogorku Kenesh Chynybai Tursunbekov offered to consider the issue at a session of the Parliament tomorrow.

MPs unanimously supported the proposal.

President proposed Kubanychbek Kulmatov, the chairman of Kyrgyz-Russian Development Fund, ex-Mayor of Bishkek for the post of head of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan. Yesterday, Committee on Economics and Fiscal Policy approved Kulmatov’s candidacy for the post of the head of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.
