Bishkek, Sept. 6, 2017 / Kabar /. The prime ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are more likely to get in touch by phone and see each other to solve joint issues, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said during the meeting with Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov.
"For 14 years of my premiership, I talked with the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan 4 times. It should not be like that. You must not ask us. You have to call up 10 times a month and if necessary, meet," Mirziyoyev said.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan said that President Atambayev had already instructed to implement the agreements reached yesterday. He also assured that together with the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdullah Aripov they will work effectively.
Isakov also said that Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan have previously agreed on cooperation for $ 115 million and this agreement will be worked out in the near future and signed between the relevant companies.
"This fact is very encouraging. This is only the first step," he said.
Also, Isakov said that it is necessary to develop a mirror plan of activities in order to clearly see what we will do and in what time frame.
